A Filipino male masseur (or massage therapist) provides professional bodywork and wellness therapies tailored to client needs. Responsibilities include executing massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, hilot), maintaining facility sanitation, and delivering customer service. This role typically requires certification, prior spa experience, and exceptional grooming.

Core Responsibilities

• Treatment Execution: Perform a variety of modalities such as deep tissue, Swedish, aromatherapy, reflexology, and traditional Filipino hilot.

• Client Consultation: Assess client medical history and physical needs to tailor treatments, offering wellness advice and stretching tips.

• Sanitation & Setup: Sterilize equipment, maintain clean treatment rooms, and restock linens and massage oils.

• Sales & Retention: Recommend spa products, promote wellness services, and build a base of returning clientele.

• Client Comfort: Ensure client privacy, comfort, and safety throughout the session.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Certifications: Valid certification or diploma in massage therapy from an accredited institution.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven hands-on experience in reputable hotels, resorts, or wellness spas.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks.

• Soft Skills: Strong communication, a highly professional demeanor, and excellent personal hygiene.

• Duty: 10 am to 10 pm

• Weekly one day off.

• Salary depends on experience + Commission.
