Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior and Senior Odoo ERP Consultant to lead and deliver end-to-end Odoo ERP implementations across multiple business units. The role requires a strong blend of functional consulting, technical expertise, and stakeholder management, supporting enterprise-scale, multi-company environments.

The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to business and IT leadership, ensuring scalable, secure, and well-governed Odoo solutions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

ERP Implementation & Consulting

Lead full Odoo implementation lifecycle: discovery, gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, data migration, UAT, go-live, and hypercare.

Translate complex business requirements into scalable Odoo solutions aligned with best practices.

Drive multi-company and multi-business-unit implementations with strong governance.

Technical Development & Customization

Design and develop custom Odoo modules and workflows using:

Python

OWL

XML views

QWeb reports

Customize and extend core modules including:

Sales

Manufacturing (MRP)

Inventory

Project Management

Fleet

Accounting (integration-level)

Ensure customizations follow Odoo framework standards and remain upgrade-safe.

Integrations & Automation

Integrate Odoo with third-party systems such as:

Payment gateways

CRM platforms

BI / analytics tools

External operational systems

Implement integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and middleware where required.

Performance, Security & Scalability

Conduct performance tuning for PostgreSQL and Odoo ORM.

Lead security reviews, access control design, and data protection practices.

Assess and optimize system scalability for enterprise usage and growth.

Deployment & Operations

Manage deployments using:

Odoo.sh

Docker / containerized environments

Support CI/CD pipelines, staging environments, and release governance.

Troubleshoot production issues and lead root-cause analysis.

Leadership & Enablement

Lead technical and functional workshops for business users.

Train end-users and super users to ensure strong adoption.

Mentor junior consultants and developers.

Document implementation standards, reusable templates, and internal accelerators.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience

6+ years of hands-on Odoo ERP experience.

Successful delivery of 4+ enterprise Odoo implementations.

Strong experience with Odoo v13 or later (v14–v17 preferred).

Technical Skills

Deep understanding of Odoo architecture and ORM.

Strong Python development skills.

PostgreSQL performance tuning and optimization.

Experience with:

XML views

QWeb reporting

Automated testing

Deployment experience with Odoo.sh and/or Docker.

Implementation Expertise

Proven experience in Agile / Scrum environments.

Strong data migration skills (CSV, XLSX, scripted imports).

Ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues.
