Job Title

Accountant – Food & Beverage (F&B)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial operations for our Food & Beverage business. The role focuses on daily accounting, cost control, inventory accounting, and compliance, with a strong understanding of F&B operations such as purchasing, stock usage, and revenue reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

Maintain accurate books of accounts, including AP, AR, and general ledger

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Reconcile bank statements, POS reports, and cash transactions

Handle tax filings (VAT/GST, withholding tax, etc.) and ensure compliance

Cost Control & Inventory

Monitor food and beverage costs, margins, and variances

Track inventory levels, wastage, and stock movements

Coordinate with kitchen and purchasing teams on cost analysis

Conduct stock counts and investigate discrepancies

Operations Support

Review supplier invoices and manage payments

Ensure proper documentation for purchases and expenses

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Assist with internal and external audits

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

2–5 years of accounting experience (F&B or hospitality preferred)

Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management

Experience with POS systems and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, Oracle)

Proficient in Excel and financial reporting

High attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Preferred Skills

Experience in restaurants, cafés, hotels, or catering businesses

Knowledge of food cost percentages and yield analysis

Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
