Job Vacancy: KNX Automation Engineer / ELV Engineer (Project Management)

We are looking for a KNX Automation / ELV Engineer with strong hands-on experience in design, installation, programming, and project execution, capable of managing automation and low current projects from start to handover.

Key Responsibilities (Project Management)

Estimate project work, identify dependencies, critical path activities, and required resources.

Manage projects and drive the project team from initiation to completion.

Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables.

Ensure business requirements are clearly defined, understood, and signed off.

Proactively manage project risks and issues and minimize their impact.

Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders and use feedback to optimize progress.

Negotiate resource allocation in a matrix management environment.

Coordinate project reporting, project reviews, and steering meetings.

Ensure Health, Safety, and Welfare of all team members.

KNX Automation Responsibilities

KNX system installation and programming.

Design and installation of automation control panels.

Programming of KNX system components including:

Actuators, dimmers, shutter/blind control modules, web servers, etc.

Design automation control systems as per project requirements.

Automation circuits design according to project standards and specifications.

Full hands-on work (installation, wiring, programming, and design).

ELV / Low Current Systems

CCTV system design, installation, and commissioning (Analog & IP).

Audio/Video system design and installation.

Installation and commissioning of security systems (e.g., Vimar By-Alarm).

Installation of video door phones and intercom systems for smart home automation.

Site Execution & Handover

Site supervision, execution, testing, and commissioning.

Lighting design, automation design, and DB design (Automation DB, MCB) as per site requirements.

Site handover and documentation.

Client Handling & Sales Support

Client meetings, presentations, quotation preparation, and project execution.

Research and communication with prospective clients.

Provide product presentations to customers and company staff.

Work closely with sales team and engineers to understand client/system needs.

Develop and implement sales plans and consistently achieve sales targets.

Recommend improved materials/machinery to reduce cost and improve performance.

Product costing and selection according to project requirements.

Technical Skills & Experience

Automation Brands / Systems Experience

Vimar, ABB, B.E.S, Zennio, Intesisbox, Theben, RTI, Savant, Fibaro, etc.

KNX

Installation of KNX controllers as per project requirements.

Programming KNX devices using ETS Software.

Installation of KNX frontend modules such as:

Keypads, touch panels, automated switches, presence detectors, motion sensors, etc.

Knowledge of KNX devices and solutions.

Servers / Remote Control

Experience with automation web servers such as:

Vimar Web Server, B.E.S, Theben

Remote monitoring and control configuration.

Audio / Video

Good knowledge of RTI, Savant, and Russound audio/video systems.

Installation of smart sound systems for meeting rooms.

CCTV

Installation and programming of surveillance systems (Analog & IP cameras).

Wiring & Installation

Strong hands-on experience in wiring, installation, programming, and design.

Experience with relays, switch actuators, blind actuators (wired & wireless).
