JOB TITLE: ACCOUNTANT – FEMALE (PHILIPPINES NATIONALITIES ONLY)
LOCATION: BAHRAIN OFFICE
WORKING HOURS: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5–8 YEARS
INDUSTRY PREFERENCE: TRADING / SUPPLY CHAIN
SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE: TALLY / ZOHO / QUICK BOOKS / XERO

JOB BRIEF
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage all financial transactions of the company, including fixed payments, variable expenses, bank deposits, budgeting, and statutory compliance, auditing.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in bookkeeping, accounting software (especially Zoho or similar), and financial reporting, with the ability to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy. You will play a key role in maintaining the company’s financial health while ensuring full compliance with tax laws and accounting regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage all accounting transactions
• Track payments to internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare budget forecasts and financial plans
• Process tax payments and prepare tax returns
• Publish financial statements on time
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments and reconciliations
• Manage balance sheets and profit & loss statements
• Report on the company’s financial health, liquidity, and cash flow
• Audit financial transactions and documentation
• Maintain financial data confidentiality and perform database backups when required
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, statutory regulations, and accounting standards

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
• 5–8 years of proven experience in accounting/finance
• Experience in Trading / Supply Chain industry preferred
• Hands-on experience with Zoho OR similar accounting software
• Experience with financial reporting and working across multiple legal entities
• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP / SFAS
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas)
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Excellent reporting and documentation skills
• Deadline-oriented with strong time management abilities
• Ability to handle confidential financial data
• Good data entry and record management skills
