Responsibilities :

1- Set up and operate CNC bending machines (e.g., press brakes) according to engineering drawings and production requirements.

2- Select and install appropriate tooling, dies, and machine parameters (angles, back gauges, pressure settings, etc.).

3- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and bend data to ensure correct part dimensions and tolerances.

4- Program or input CNC machine settings using control panels or pre-written programs.

5- Perform trial bends and first-piece inspections to verify accuracy before full production.

6- Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) during machine operation.

7- Perform routine maintenance on the machine (e.g., lubrication, cleaning, checking for wear or damage).

8- Report equipment malfunctions or irregularities to supervisors or maintenance teams.”

SKILLS :

1- Hands-on experience operating CNC bending or press brake machines (e.g., Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic, LVD, etc.).

2- Knowledge of CNC programming and control systems (e.g., Delem, Cybelec, ESA, Fanuc).

3- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and bend charts.

4- Understanding of sheet metal properties, bend allowances, and tolerances.

5- Skilled in using measuring instruments (e.g., vernier caliper, protractor, micrometer, height gauge).

6- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills to adjust machine settings or replace tooling.”

Education :

1- High school diploma or equivalent.

2- Technical diploma or certificate in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering — preferred but not always required.

3- Vocational training / ITI certification in CNC operations, sheet metal fabrication, or machine tools is a strong advantage.”
