Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure the organization’s operational, financial, and strategic objectives are protected.
Position Summary:
The Risk Manager is responsible for identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring risks associated with Construction projects. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard the organization’s assets, reputation, and financial interests.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
1.
Risk Identification and Assessment:
•
Manage and Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across all aspects of Construction operations, including investments, and corporate functions.
•
Identify and analyze potential risks related to market conditions, financial factors, legal and regulatory compliance, environmental issues, construction, and operational activities.
•
Manage and Develop risk assessment methodologies, tools, and frameworks to quantify and prioritize risks based on their likelihood and potential impact.
2.
Risk Management Strategy Development:
•
Formulate and implement robust risk management strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the organization’s risk appetite and tolerance levels.
•
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, legal, finance, and operations, to develop risk mitigation plans and contingency strategies.
•
Manage and Recommend appropriate risk transfer mechanisms, such as insurance policies, contractual safeguards, or alternative risk financing strategies.
3.
Risk Monitoring and Reporting:
•
Establish and maintain a comprehensive risk monitoring and reporting system to track and evaluate risks throughout the lifecycle of real estate projects and operations.
•
Prepare regular risk reports, dashboards, and analytics to communicate risk exposures, trends, and mitigation efforts to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
•
Conduct periodic risk reviews and audits to ensure the effectiveness of risk management strategies and identify areas for improvement.
4.
Risk Governance and Compliance:
•
Manage and Develop and implement a risk governance framework, including risk management policies, standards, and guidelines, to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
•
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to interpret and implement regulatory requirements related to risk management in the real estate industry.
•
Provide guidance and training to employees, contractors, and stakeholders on risk management practices and regulatory compliance.
5.
Business Continuity and Crisis Management:
•
Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure the resilience of real estate operations in the event of disruptions or emergencies.
•
Coordinate with relevant teams to establish crisis management protocols, communication strategies, and response procedures.
•
Facilitate regular testing and drills to assess the effectiveness of contingency plans and promote organizational preparedness.
Experience and Qualifications
•
Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. professional certification (e.g., Professional Risk Manager, Financial Risk Manager) is highly Important.
•
Minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience in risk management roles within the real estate, construction, or financial services industries.
•
Proven track record of successfully implementing and overseeing comprehensive risk management programs and strategies.
•
In-depth knowledge of risk management principles, techniques, and best practices, including quantitative and qualitative risk assessment methodologies.
•
Familiarity with real estate development processes, property management operations, and investment strategies.
•
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify risk trends and patterns.
•
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical risk information to various stakeholders.
Availability: Immediate
This is a supplier-based position with a competitive salary package.
Iqama transfer is not available. Contract will be through Ajeer/Kafeel No Objection Letter.
