The Low-Current Systems Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low-current and ELV systems, ensuring proper operation and compliance with technical and site standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and maintain CCTV systems (IP, Analog, PTZ) and NVR/DVRs.
Install and support data networking, WiFi, and structured cabling.
Perform fiber optic cabling, termination, and basic testing.
Install and configure intercom, access control, IP phone, and AV systems.
Carry out cable pulling, termination, labeling, and system setup.
Troubleshoot faults and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Follow safety procedures and site regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience in low-current systems (CCTV, networking, fiber, ELV).
Basic knowledge of IP networking and PoE.
Ability to work on-site and travel between locations.
Relevant technical certifications are an advantage.
Reliable, committed, and a good team player.
