Landscape Supervisor

The Landscape Supervisor oversees landscaping projects and field teams, managing daily operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to established quality standards. This role is responsible for crew leadership, project coordination, scheduling, and quality control across planting, installation (including hardscaping and irrigation), and ongoing landscape maintenance. The Landscape Supervisor serves as a key liaison between clients, field crews, and management, ensuring projects meet budgetary, scheduling, and client requirements for residential, commercial, and public properties. The position combines hands-on field oversight with planning, coordination, and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise landscaping crews; assign daily tasks and ensure safe, productive work practices.

Project Management: Plan, organize, and oversee project execution, managing timelines, labor, materials, equipment, and budgets.

Field Operations: Supervise planting, lawn maintenance, pruning, mulching, irrigation systems, and hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.

Client Relations: Communicate with clients regarding project progress, address concerns, and ensure overall satisfaction.

Quality & Safety: Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and high-quality workmanship standards.

Resource Management: Monitor, maintain, and schedule equipment; order materials and supplies; manage inventory levels.

Administrative Duties: Prepare reports, document work activities, and maintain accurate project and maintenance records.
