KEY RESPONSIBILITY OF HVAC qc inspectors ;

• Conduct inspection and verification of HVAC installation works including ducting, piping, insulation, equipment installation, and supports.

• Review and ensure compliance with approved IFC drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITPs.

• Perform pre-installation, in-process, and final inspections for HVAC systems.

• Witness and verify testing & commissioning activities such as:

• Duct leakage tests

• Pressure testing

• Air balancing

• Functional performance testing

• Ensure materials used comply with approved submittals and MTCs.

• Prepare and maintain QC inspection reports, checklists, and records.

• Identify non-conformances (NCRs) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

• Coordinate with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams for quality compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HVAC QC Inspector in industrial or large commercial projects.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including:

• Chilled water systems

• DX systems

• Air handling units (AHU)

• FCUs, VRF/VRV systems

• Familiar with QA/QC documentation, ITPs, MIRs, WIRs, and NCR procedures.

• Good knowledge of relevant codes and

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Good communication and reporting skills.

Experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical projects

• Knowledge of client inspection and approval procedures

• Aramco / SABIC project experience (preferred )
