Position: Safety Officer – Civil (Commercial Building Project)

Project: Jeddah Tower

Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

About the Role

Skylark Infra Engineering Private Limited is urgently seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our team for the Jeddah Tower Project in Jeddah. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance on site, while actively promoting a strong safety culture across all project activities.

Preference will be given to Arab nationals only.

Key Responsibilities

Implement, monitor, and enforce company HSE policies and procedures at the construction site

Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and comprehensive risk assessments

Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective and preventive measures

Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing HSE training

Investigate, document, and report incidents, accidents, and near-miss events

Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws, Civil Defense regulations, and project-specific HSE requirements

Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment

Maintain accurate safety documentation and records

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports

Lead emergency response planning, drills, and preparedness activities

Key Requirements

Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar HSE role (commercial or high-rise projects preferred)

Certification: NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent recognized safety certification

Language: Fluency in Arabic is mandatory (English preferred)

KSA Experience: Prior work experience in Saudi Arabia is required

Strong knowledge of Saudi safety regulations and international HSE standards

Excellent communication, coordination, and observational skills

Availability: Immediate joining required

Nationality: Arab candidates only
