Finance Manager – Job Description

Job Summary

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance activities. The role ensures financial health, controls costs, supports strategic decision-making, and maintains compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Monitor cash flow, expenses, and profitability

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger

Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions

Manage financial risks and internal controls

Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management

Support strategic planning and business growth initiatives

Supervise and develop the finance and accounting team

Ensure timely tax filings, Zakat/VAT compliance (if applicable)

Review contracts and financial implications of business decisions

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA (preferred)

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in finance/accounting, with managerial experience

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills

Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills

High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
