– Civil Engineer / Structural Engineer – Khobar, Saudi Arabia – AKMO
Duties & Responsibilities:
– The candidate will be requested to apply knowledge and experience, engineering techniques, codes, standards, analysis calculations, specification, and design criteria to execute his work
– Ensure that all civil and structural works performed and applied in accordance with Saudi Building Code and other adapted company approved specifications
– Work independently in the group as the sole Civil Design Engineer and work in a team of engineering and design office
– Prepare quality assurance and control documents for civil / structural jobs
– Field inspection of work activities, surveying and measurement taking
– Act as Project Engineer or Lead Engineer for civil, structural related projects & jobs
– Work directly with project engineers, designers, CAD operators, and draft men to ensure work activities are coordinated. He may also be required to supervise and train these personnel
– Prepare drawings for design and produce himself in electronic format. electronic format, he will then verify the drawings
– Use software related to civil / structural for design, calculations and preparation of design packages (i.e., Staadpro)
– Responsible in planning and conducting independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria
Devise new approaches to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs, and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices

المتطلبات

• 3 years minimum experience
• Bachelor or Masters degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering
• Saudi Council of Engineers Certification in the Field of Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering
• Years of experience with knowledge in AutoCAD, ETABS, SAFE & STAAD PRO & SAAP
• Having a local Saudi Driving License is a plus
• Transferable Iqama
