Location: Khobar, Saudi Arabia

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our team for large-scale construction projects.

Requirements:

– Filipino Engineer (mandatory)

– Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil/ Construction or related)

– Minimum 10-15 years of proven experience in planning and project controls

– Strong experience in high-value, large-scale projects (hospitals, high-rise buildings, industrial or infrastructure projects)

– Expert in Primavera P6

– Strong knowledge of project scheduling, progress monitoring, delay analysis, and reporting

– Experience in baseline schedules, recovery schedules, and resource loading

– Ability to coordinate with project managers, consultants, and clients

– Strong analytical and communication skills

– Experience in Saudi Arabia is mandatory

– Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Responsibilities:

– Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project schedules covering design, procurement, and construction phases using Primavera P6 and MS Project.

– Establish and control baseline schedules in alignment with contract requirements, client objectives, and project execution strategies.

– Monitor project progress, analyze schedule deviations, and provide early warnings of potential delays or risks.

– Conduct critical path analysis, resource loading, leveling, and optimization to ensure efficient utilization of project resources.

– Prepare weekly, monthly, and milestone progress reports using Earned Value Management (EVM) – and other key performance indicators.

– Identify schedule-related risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain schedule risk registers.

– Support the preparation of claims, Extensions of Time (EOT), delay analyses, and recovery schedules in coordination with project and commercial teams.

– Develop and monitor recovery and acceleration plans to maintain or regain approved project timelines.

– Coordinate planning activities with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and senior management to ensure accurate progress tracking and reporting.

– Ensure all planning and scheduling activities comply with contractual obligations, project specifications, client requirements, and industry best practices.
