Job Title: Technical Business Development & Project Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a results-driven professional to lead our regional growth by identifying and securing IT service projects. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical engineering and business development, taking full ownership of the project lifecycle—from the first client meeting in the region to final invoicing and project closure.

Core Responsibilities

• Regional Business Development:

o Proactively scout and identify new IT project opportunities within the assigned region.

o Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective clients to pitch Cybersecurity, Server Installation, and Networking services.

o Negotiate contract terms and finalize project agreements.

• Technical Solution Design & Pre-Sales:

Evaluate client IT environments to identify vulnerabilities and requirements.

Design customized technical solutions, including Domain/Active Directory setups, firewall configurations, and server deployments.

Prepare detailed technical proposals, Bill of Materials (BoM), and quotations.

Documentation & Project Management:

Write and maintain high-quality project documentation, including architecture diagrams, installation guides, and service manuals.

Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and budget to ensure on-time delivery.

Operational Implementation & Handover:

Lead or oversee the hands-on installation and configuration of IT hardware and software at client sites.

Conduct final testing and client training to ensure satisfaction before project handover.

Financial Closing & Invoicing:

Obtain official client sign-off for completed works to close the invoice process.

o Manage the transition from project delivery to ongoing maintenance and support contracts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Background: Deep knowledge of Cybersecurity (ISO 27001/NIST), Windows/Linux Servers, and Network Infrastructure.

• Sales & Negotiation: Proven ability to build client relationships and close high-value technical deals.

• Documentation Skills: Proficiency in technical writing for RFPs, tenders, and project reports.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Mobility: Must have a valid driving license and a willingness to travel extensively within the region to client locations.
