Job Summary:
The role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving sales of the organization’s products and services. The position requires a solid understanding of market dynamics, sales practices, and industry standards to achieve business growth and customer satisfaction.
Duties:
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts while developing new business opportunities through effective prospecting and relationship-building.
• Plan and organize daily work schedules to visit existing and potential clients, sales outlets, and trade partners.
• Tailor sales presentations and proposals according to customer needs, industry trends, and specific sales outlets.
• Drive sales performance by analyzing and prioritizing high-potential dealers, markets, and opportunities.
• Submit accurate orders and quotations in line with company pricing, policies, and product information.
• Prepare and share regular sales reports including daily call updates, weekly plans, and monthly/annual territory performance analyses.
• Monitor and evaluate competitive activities, including pricing, product offerings, delivery schedules, and promotional strategies, and provide feedback to management.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints by identifying issues, proposing solutions, and escalating as necessary.
• Maintain up-to-date product and industry knowledge by attending training sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities.
• Keep detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and territory data for historical tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with colleagues across teams to support overall business goals and contribute to collective success.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• 2–5 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.
• Experience in pharmaceuticals/FMCG/retail is an advantage.
Technical & Professional Skills
• Strong knowledge of sales techniques, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and digital sales tools.
• Ability to analyze sales reports and market data to make informed decisions.
Personal Skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Results-oriented with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
