PROJECT CONTROLS MANAGER

Position: Control Manager

Project: 400 MW Utility-Scale Solar Power Project

Location: Hail, Saudi Arabia

Reporting to: Project Manager

Role Overview

The Control Manager will be responsible for leading all project controls activities for the 400 MW utility-scale solar EPC project. This includes planning, scheduling, progress measurement, cost control, forecasting, reporting, and coordination with engineering, procurement, and construction teams. The role ensures that the project schedule and cost are effectively controlled in line with EPC Contract requirements and project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and maintain the project control framework for the EPC project

Develop, manage, and control the integrated project schedule

Monitor progress against baseline and identify schedule deviations

Perform critical path and schedule risk analysis

Prepare weekly and monthly project control reports

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams

Track variations, changes, and their impact on schedule and cost

Support delay analysis, recovery planning, and mitigation measures

Provide accurate forecasts and progress dashboards to management

Ensure alignment of planning data with contractual requirements

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management

Minimum 12 years of experience in EPC or large-scale infrastructure projects

Proven experience as a Control Manager or Senior Planning role on EPC projects

Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6

Strong experience in integrated planning, progress measurement, and reporting

Experience in utility-scale solar or power projects is an advantage

Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills
