Rigger Level 1 – Aramco Approved

Qualification & Certification

Valid Aramco Approved Rigger Level 1 certificate

Aramco JCC / ID (mandatory)

Third-party rigging certification as per Aramco standards

Basic lifting safety training

Experience

Minimum 2–3 years rigging experience in Oil & Gas / Industrial / Aramco projects

Experience working under direct supervision of Rigger Level 3 / Rigging Supervisor

Technical Knowledge

Identification and correct use of rigging gear:

Wire rope slings, web slings, chain slings

Shackles, hooks, eye bolts, turnbuckles

Understanding of:

Safe Working Load (SWL)

Basic sling angles and load balance

Standard hand and radio signals

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in lifting, lowering, and positioning loads

Attach and detach lifting gear correctly

Follow approved lifting plans and instructions

Perform pre-use inspection of lifting equipment

Maintain exclusion zones during lifting activities

Ensure proper PPE usage at all times

Report damaged or unsafe rigging equipment immediately

Safety & Compliance

Comply with Aramco Lifting & Hoisting Standards

Follow PTW (Permit to Work) and Job Safety Analysis

Stop work and report any unsafe act or condition
