Qualification & Certification

Valid Aramco Approved Rigger Level 3 certificate

Aramco JCC / ID (mandatory)

Advanced third-party rigging certification

BOSIET & H2S (mandatory for offshore / some onshore areas)

Experience

Minimum 5–7 years of rigging experience in Aramco Oil & Gas projects

Experience in heavy lifts, critical lifts, tandem lifts

Advanced Technical Knowledge

Load calculations:

Load weight, center of gravity

Sling angle tension calculations

Selection of correct lifting gear based on:

SWL / WLL

Environmental conditions

Knowledge of cranes:

Mobile cranes, crawler cranes, tower cranes

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and approve:

Lifting plans

Method statements

Risk assessments

Supervise and control all lifting operations

Lead toolbox talks and pre-lift meetings

Coordinate with:

Crane operators

Safety officers

Site supervisors

Ensure all lifting operations comply with Saudi Aramco standards

Authority to stop unsafe lifting operations

Safety & Leadership

Strong leadership in lifting safety

Full knowledge of Aramco HSE policies

Ensure zero incident lifting operations

Mentor and guide Level 1 & Level 2 riggers
