We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman / BIM Modeler specialized in marble and stone works to prepare accurate shop drawings, BIM models, and coordinated documentation for high-end architectural projects. The candidate will work closely with design, QS, and site teams to ensure precise detailing, quantities, and compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1,AutoCAD Drafting

Prepare detailed shop drawings for marble and stone works including:

Flooring, wall cladding, staircases, skirting, countertops, vanity tops, shelves, and custom stone elements

Develop setting-out drawings, layout plans, sections, and elevations

Produce cutting lists, slab layouts, and fixing details

Revise drawings as per consultant/client comments and site conditions

2,BIM Modeling

Develop BIM models (LOD 300–400) for marble and stone packages

Model stone elements with accurate thicknesses, joints, finishes, and fixing systems

Extract quantities, schedules, and BOQs from BIM models

Coordinate models with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines

Detect and resolve clashes related to stone installations

Coordination & Documentation

Coordinate with QS team for quantity take-offs and cost control

Support project teams during design development, tender, and execution stages

Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, IFC drawings, and standards

Assist in preparation of as-built drawings

Software & Technical Skills

AutoCAD (Advanced)

BIM Software: Revit (mandatory)

Navisworks (for coordination and clash detection)

Knowledge of marble and stone fixing systems, tolerances, joints, and edge details

Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings

Experience & Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Drafting

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in marble / stone works

Proven experience in high-end residential, hospitality, or commercial projects

GCC experience is an advantage
