Job Location: Jizan

Experience in refinery needed.

Job description for HVAC technician

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment such as compressors, motors, fans, pumps, valves, and controls.

Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system issues related to HVAC equipment.

Monitor system performance and adjust ensure optimal efficiency and compliance with operational requirements.

Conduct refrigerant handling, leak detection, recovery, and charging in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.

Read and interpret P&IDs, schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.

Coordinate with operations, engineering, and contractors for shutdowns, modifications, and major repairs.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and company procedures.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and logs using CMMS or maintenance documentation systems.

Support commissioning, testing, and start-up of new or modified HVAC systems.

Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide on-call support as required.

Diploma or technical certification in HVAC or a related field.

Minimum 5-year experience as an HVAC Technician in an industrial, petrochemical, manufacturing, or power plant environment.

Strong knowledge of industrial HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and control systems.

Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems effectively.

Familiarity with safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and hazardous area requirements.

Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical ability to work in industrial environments, including confined spaces and elevated areas
