Job Title: Safety / HSE Engineer

Department: HSE

Reports To: HSE Manager / Project Manager

Job Purpose:

To ensure full compliance with Saudi Aramco HSE requirements and maintain a safe working environment throughout all project phases, including fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor the Project HSE Plan in line with Aramco and company requirements

• Prepare and review Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), risk assessments, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) documentation

• Monitor critical activities including lifting operations, hot work, confined space entry, and fuel handling

• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inspections, audits, and HSE awareness sessions

• Investigate incidents, manage incident reporting, and ensure proper corrective and preventive actions

• Coordinate with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams to enforce safe work practices

• Support emergency preparedness and response planning

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Safety, or related discipline

• NEBOSH / IOSH certification is mandatory

• Minimum 7–10 years HSE experience in oil & gas projects, preferably in Aramco environments

• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco HSE standards, codes, and regulations

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of HSE management systems and Aramco HSE standards

• Ability to conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections

• Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to enforce safe work practices

• Proficient in preparing reports, PTWs, and safety documentation

• Attention to detail and commitment to a zero-incident culture

• Proven experience working on Saudi Aramco projects
