HSE TECHNICIAN

Job Title: HSE Technician

Department: HSE

Reports To: HSE Engineer

Job Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose

To support the implementation and monitoring of site safety requirements and ensure full compliance with Saudi Aramco HSE standards, project HSE plans, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with HSE rules and procedures

Assist in the implementation and control of Permit to Work (PTW) systems

Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site safety inductions

Inspect proper use of PPE and maintain good housekeeping standards

Identify, report, and follow up on unsafe acts and unsafe conditions

Support emergency drills, mock exercises, and emergency response activities

Assist in incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action tracking

Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco HSE requirements and site safety procedures

Required Skills & Competencies

Good knowledge of HSE practices in oil & gas construction environments

Familiarity with Saudi Aramco HSE standards and PTW systems

Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or recognized Safety Certification

NEBOSH / IOSH certification preferred

Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in oil & gas projects

Saudi Aramco project experience is an advantage
