Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Purpose:

To design, install, and commission electrical systems for hazardous-area skid packages, ensuring full compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, IEC, and IECEx / ATEX requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), cable schedules, and electrical layout drawings

• Ensure compliance with hazardous area classifications (Zone 1 / Zone 2) for all electrical equipment and installations

• Supervise earthing, bonding, and power distribution installation works

• Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, instrumentation, and construction teams

• Perform and witness electrical testing and commissioning, including continuity, insulation resistance, and functional tests

• Ensure full compliance with:

o SAES-E (Saudi Aramco Electrical Engineering Standards)

o IEC / IECEx / ATEX requirements

• Support preparation of as-built drawings and final documentation

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 8 years of electrical engineering experience

• Mandatory experience in oil & gas hazardous area projects

• Prior experience on Saudi Aramco projects is highly preferred

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of hazardous area electrical design and installation

• Proficiency in reviewing electrical drawings and vendor documents

• Experience with testing, commissioning, and energization procedures

• Excellent coordination and interface management skills

• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)

• Be experienced in Saudi Aramco projects

• Follow approved Aramco standards and NJBP operational requirements

• Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover

• Support as-built documentation and final acceptance
