HVAC Engineer Responsibilities

• Design heating, ventilation, and air conditioning Refrigeration (HVAC’R) systems for buildings

• Calculate heating and cooling loads using engineering standards

• Select appropriate equipment (chillers, AHUs, ductwork, controls& Dx Units)

• Prepare HVAC drawings, layouts, and technical specifications

• Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and energy standards

• Coordinate with architects, electrical, plumbing, and structural engineers

• Review shop drawings, submittals, and equipment schedules

• Oversee installation to ensure systems are built according to design

• Conduct system testing, commissioning, and performance verification

• Optimize systems for energy efficiency and sustainability

• Troubleshoot system design issues and propose improvements

• Prepare cost estimates, Reports, and project documentation

• Support maintenance teams with technical guidance

• BOQ preparation for all the above systems.

Key Skills & Knowledge

• HVAC design software (AutoCAD, HAP, TRACE, or similar)

• Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and local building codes

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Project coordination and communication skills

• Understanding of energy-efficient and green building systems

Experience

Minimum 5 to 8 Years GCC Experience same related field , Added advantage if have experience in Saudi Arabia.

English, Arabic,Hindi
