Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SCADA Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems and related control systems in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain SCADA systems and related hardware.

Monitor SCADA systems and ensure optimal functionality, performing troubleshooting as needed.

Provide technical support for SCADA system operations, including diagnostics and repair.

Conduct regular system checks, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.

Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve system efficiency and implement system upgrades.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Document system configurations, maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting procedures.

Assist in training personnel on SCADA systems and software usage.

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related field.

Proven experience working with SCADA systems in an industrial or utilities setting.

Strong understanding of PLCs, HMI, DCS, and remote telemetry units (RTUs).

Proficiency with SCADA software such as Wonderware, Ignition, or similar.

Experience with network protocols (Modbus, DNP3, TCP/IP, etc.) is a plus.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to work on-call or during non-standard hours if required
