The Finishing Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating all finishing works on site, ensuring high-quality workmanship, compliance with approved drawings and specifications, and timely completion of finishing activities.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise finishing works such as plastering, tiling, painting, flooring, false ceilings, joinery, doors, windows, and fixtures

Ensure finishing works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards

Coordinate daily activities of subcontractors, foremen, and laborers

Monitor progress and ensure finishing works meet project schedules

Inspect completed works, identify defects, and ensure rectification

Coordinate with MEP teams to avoid clashes during finishing works

Ensure proper material usage and reduce wastage

Enforce safety regulations and quality control procedures

Maintain daily progress and manpower reports

Assist in snagging, de-snagging, and project handover

Requirements & Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)

4–7 years of experience in finishing works for construction projects

Strong knowledge of finishing materials, methods, and quality standards

Ability to read and interpret architectural and finishing drawings

Experience managing subcontractors and labor teams

Skills & Competencies

Strong supervision and coordination skills

High attention to detail and quality

Good communication and problem-solving abilities

Knowledge of site safety standards
