Job Title: Construction Helper
Construction Helpers support skilled workers and supervisors on site by performing basic labor tasks, handling materials, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment to ensure smooth construction operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist masons, carpenters, steel fixers, electricians, and other trades
Load, unload, and move construction materials and tools
Mix cement, mortar, and concrete as instructed
Clean and prepare work areas; remove debris and waste
Assist in scaffolding, formwork, and temporary works
Hold tools and materials for skilled workers
Follow site safety rules and use PPE at all times
Perform basic digging, lifting, and manual labor tasks
Carry out instructions from supervisors and foremen
No formal education required (basic literacy preferred)
Previous construction experience is an advantage but not mandatory
Physically fit and able to perform manual work
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
