Quality Control

Responsibilities

1. Raw Material Quality Control

• Inspect and approve all incoming raw materials (chemicals, perfume compounds, packaging materials).

• Verify supplier COAs and compare with internal QC specifications.

• Conduct sampling, testing, and documentation before releasing materials to production.

2. Finished Goods Quality Control

• Inspect and test finished perfume products, bottles, caps, labels, and packaging.

• Ensure finished goods meet internal quality standards and customer requirements.

• Record defects, deviations, and communicate corrective actions to production.

• Approve final batches before dispatch.

3. Production Process Quality Monitoring

• Collect daily production data and reports from Production Supervisors.

• Check in-process quality parameters (mixing, filling, crimping, sealing, packaging).

• Ensure production follows SOPs, GMP, and hygiene standards.

• Monitor equipment calibration and cleanliness.

4. QC List / Auditing Tasks

• Maintain QC checklists for raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.

• Conduct daily/weekly internal quality audits across production areas.

• Verify batch records, documentation, and traceability.

• Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

• Ensure compliance with ISO and quality standards.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare QC inspection reports, material rejection reports, and deviation logs.

• Maintain accurate quality records for audit readiness.

• Submit daily/weekly QC data to the QA Manager / Higher Management.

• Update QC database and maintain proper filing of test results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Quality Control in perfume, chemical, food, paper, plastic, or manufacturing industry.

• Knowledge of QC standards, testing methods, and ISO procedures.

• Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
