Job Title: Construction Helper

Job Summary

The Construction Helper assists skilled workers and supervisors on construction sites by performing basic labor tasks, maintaining site cleanliness, handling materials, and supporting daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Assist masons, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled workers

Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools

Mix cement, concrete, and other construction materials as instructed

Clean and prepare job sites, remove debris and waste

Hold materials or tools for skilled workers during tasks

Assist in setting up scaffolding, formwork, and temporary structures

Follow safety rules and wear personal protective equipment (PPE)

Perform basic digging, lifting, and manual labor tasks

Support site supervisors with general duties as needed

Requirements & Qualifications

No formal education required (basic literacy preferred)

Prior construction site experience is an advantage

Ability to perform physically demanding work

Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines

Team player with a positive attitude

Skills

Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials

Physical strength and stamina

Time management and reliability

Awareness of workplace safety
