A maintenance in-charge ensures that each and every assets belongs to company are properly serviced and in well condition.

Specific Job Responsibilities are, but not limited to, the following:

• Schedule and complete the “Preventive Maintenance Program” at all outlets.

• Coordinate special projects as directed by the Restaurant Manager.

• Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.

• Make sure that all machines & equipment are properly serviced and in well condition.

• Set-up and install electric cables as needed; install and repair electric outlets; repair and relocate light fixtures.

• Replace washers, faucets and seals on malfunctioning plumbing equipment; repair leaky faucets and clean clogged drains; install and repair sprinklers.

• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.

• Carry mobile phone as required for on-call maintenance.

• Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.

• Complete grounds work as directed by Restaurant Manager which may include picking up staff, helping kitchen, boat areas, accountant and other areas.

• Maintain efficient function of the RO and water softener; clean filters or change as needed.

• Responsible for alerting the Restaurant Manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur.

• Assure safety/health standards are used which comply with all company, local Federal guidelines.

• Ensure compliance of all work related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.

• Follow company policies and those outlined in the Employee SOP.

• Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.

• Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.

• Ensure all the boat engines and company vehicles are services on time and maintain a preventive service record.

• Work within the expense limits established.

• Maintain monthly inspection and maintenance of building/Machines/Equipment/Jetties/Boats and HVAC roof motors and fans, and replace as needed; clean, grease and paint all equipment used in heating and ventilation.

Requirements:

• A multi-skilled person with strong knowledge about electrical, plumbing, kitchen equipment and basic knowledge about carpentry, HVAC, motors and engines.

• Proficient Excel skills required (understanding of reference look-up, and formulas to automate tasks)

• Mid-level English – written and spoken.

• Proactive, negotiator, self-motivated and detail-oriented.

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
