Position required: Planning Engineer

Qualifications: Bachelor of Civil Engineering

Location: Al Hasa, Eastern Province.

Experience required: 8 – 12 years of total experience and 4 – 5 years of experience as Planning Engineer in Saudi ARAMCO Projects. Required ARAMCO approval as Planning Engineer.

Planning Engineer Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• For a newly awarded project, should be able to develop, and prepare the Project Baseline Schedule by using Primavera P6.

• Prepare the manpower & equipment Histograms.

• Prepare & submit to the client the DPR/ WPR/ MPR along with the dashboards.

• Able to prepare the Baseline schedule for EPC projects.

• Able to prepare the project budget before starting the project.

• Provide reasonable suggestions to the management related to the cost-control/ budget control strategies of the construction projects.

• Daily monitor all construction activities, the project progress and in case the project is running out of Baseline Schedule then suggest the mitigation measures to recover the project schedule.

• Prepare the Crash Schedule to recover the Project Baseline Schedule.

• Prepare the Interim Invoices, final invoice and submit to the clients.

• Prepare & submit the Extention of Time with valid reasons to get approval from the clients.

• Claim the Change Orders/ Variation Orders for the change in the SOW.

• Oversee all site activities from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed as per the scope and on time as per the approved Baseline Programme.

• Experience in the EPC projects starting from Designing phase, mobilization till handover to the clients and demobilization of the projects.

• Experience in the pipile construction projects, Earthworks, Site preparation works, Roads, infrastructure projects and Building construction projects.

• Coordination with PM, CM, all construction team, Procurement team and QC team.

• Controlling the construction costs, idle manhours, and idle equipment hours.

Salary: Depends on the experience.
