Press Shop Technician
Position Title: Press Shop Technician
Department: Manufacturing / Press Shop
Employment Type: Full-Time
Required Technical Skills
Operation and setup of laser cutting machines for sheet metal.
Strong experience in sheet metal fabrication and handling.
Operation of CNC bending/press brake machines.
Knowledge of press shop tooling and molds manufacturing.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Experience in machine setup, adjustment, and troubleshooting.
Understanding of dimensional inspection and quality control standards.
Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance for press shop machines.
Safety & Quality
Strong awareness of industrial safety procedures.
Ability to work according to quality standards and production tolerances.
Familiarity with 5S and lean manufacturing practices is an advantage.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years relevant experience in a press shop or sheet metal environment.
A technical diploma or vocational training in mechanical or industrial fields is preferred.
Personal Skills
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Good problem-solving and time management skills.
Physically fit and able to work in a production environment.
