Job Summary

The Finished Goods Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the storage, handling, and dispatch of finished products. The role ensures accurate inventory management, proper documentation, timely dispatch to clients or warehouse, and coordination with production, logistics, and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Finished Goods Management

• Supervise receipt, storage, and handling of finished goods.

• Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and identification of products.

• Maintain organized storage areas to prevent damage or misplacement.

2. Inventory Control & Reporting

• Track all finished goods in/out movements accurately.

• Maintain batch-wise, lot-wise, and expiry-wise records if applicable.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock levels, dispatches, and discrepancies.

• Reconcile physical stock with system/ERP records regularly.

3. Dispatch & Coordination

• Coordinate dispatch of finished goods to warehouses, distributors, or clients.

• Ensure accurate delivery notes, invoices, and supporting documentation for every shipment.

• Communicate with logistics/transport teams for timely delivery.

• Ensure products dispatched meet quality standards.

4. Team Supervision

• Supervise warehouse staff, loaders, and helpers handling finished goods.

• Train team on handling procedures, safety protocols, and documentation practices.

• Ensure discipline, safety, and cleanliness in the finished goods area.

5. Quality & Compliance

• Collaborate with QA/QC to ensure all products meet company standards before dispatch.

• Monitor for damaged, expired, or non-compliant products and take corrective action.

• Implement and maintain warehouse SOPs for finished goods.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, or related field.

• 3–5 years experience managing finished goods, warehouse, or dispatch operations.

• Strong knowledge of inventory management, ERP systems, and documentation practices.

• Excellent reporting, coordination, and team management skills.

• Knowledge of safety procedures, packing standards, and quality control requirements.
