Location: Makkah / Manufacturing Plant

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering / Chemistry / Production)

Experience: 3–5 years in Manufacturing / Production / Material Handling

Job Summary

The Raw Material Supervisor is responsible for managing all raw materials in the production process, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation. The role includes supervising raw material handling, maintaining stock levels, and coordinating with production, warehouse, and procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Raw Material Management

• Supervise receipt, inspection, and storage of all raw materials.

• Ensure raw materials are handled safely and stored according to specifications.

• Monitor quality and quantity of raw materials received from suppliers.

• Verify material against purchase orders and delivery notes.

2. Material Issuance & Inventory Control

• Issue raw materials to production as per production schedules.

• Maintain accurate records of material in/out transactions.

• Track stock levels and report shortages or excess to the Warehouse Manager or Procurement team.

• Ensure FIFO/FEFO methods are applied for material usage.

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily/weekly raw material reports including stock levels, usage, and discrepancies.

• Maintain raw material logs, batch-wise records, and issue slips.

• Support internal audits with proper documentation.

4. Coordination & Compliance

• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Procurement departments for material requirements.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while handling chemicals, powders, liquids, or sensitive raw materials.

• Report any damaged, expired, or non-conforming materials to management.

5. Team Supervision

• Supervise raw material handlers, storekeepers, and related staff.

• Train staff on material handling, safety, and documentation procedures.

• Maintain discipline and cleanliness in the raw material storage area.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.

• 3–5 years experience in raw material management in manufacturing (Chemical, Plastic, Paper, Perfume, or Food).

• Strong knowledge of material handling, inventory control, and storage practices.

• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.

• Knowledge of safety standards and chemical handling procedures.

• Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
