JOB DESCRIPTION – SS WELDER (With Valid WQT Card)

Quantity: 28 Nos

Location: Turaif

Duration: 6 Months

Basis: Rental Basis

Responsibilities:

Perform Stainless Steel (SS) welding using approved welding processes (GTAW/TIG, SMAW, etc.).

Read and follow welding drawings, isometrics, and work instructions.

Ensure all welding work meets project specifications and quality standards.

Prepare materials, joints, and welding surfaces before starting work.

Conduct fit-up, alignment, and finishing of welded joints.

Follow safety procedures, welding protocols, and permit requirements.

Report defects and ensure corrective actions are taken.

Maintain welding equipment in proper working condition.

Support shutdown, maintenance, and project welding activities.

Requirements:

Valid WQT (Welder Qualification Test) Card – Must be current.

Strong experience in Stainless Steel welding.

Ability to weld in various positions (1G–6G preferred).

Good understanding of welding procedures and material specifications.

Physically fit to work in industrial environments.
