Team management: Supervise shipping clerks, manage daily workloads, and provide training on new procedures.

Logistics coordination: Plan and schedule outbound loads, coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers, and track the status of shipments.

Inventory and supply management: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor shipping material stock, and conduct physical inventories.

Documentation: Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents, including packing lists, bills of lading, and labels.

Problem-solving: Address and resolve issues with delayed or incorrect shipments promptly to minimize disruption.

Safety and compliance: Enforce safety standards to maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with regulations.

Cross-departmental communication: Liaise with other departments, such as production and customer service, to ensure smooth operations.

Required skills and qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics or a related field is a plus.

Prior experience in shipping, receiving, and a leadership role is often required.

Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Proficiency with relevant software, such as Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting.

Indian national preferred.

Local iqama transfer preferred.
