1. Position Overview

The Ceramic Tiles Fixer is responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, marble, and mosaic tiles in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The role requires strong technical skills, accuracy, and the ability to deliver high-quality finishing work.

2. Key Responsibilities

Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled according to layout plans and drawings.

Cut tiles using hand tools and power tools (tile cutters, grinders, wet saws).

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying waterproofing or bonding agents.

Install ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, granite, and marble tiles using adhesives, mortar, or grout.

Ensure proper spacing, alignment, and leveling for a professional finish.

Mix and apply grout, clean tiles, and remove excess grout after installation.

Repair or replace broken or damaged tiles.

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Comply with site safety rules and follow instructions from supervisors or engineers.

Coordinate with plumbers, electricians, and other trades when required.

3. Required Skills & Experience

2–5 years of experience in tile installation (ceramic, porcelain, marble, etc.).

Knowledge of tile patterns, leveling systems, spacers, and finishing techniques.

Ability to read drawings and measure accurately.

Skilled in tile cutting, shaping, and fitting around obstacles (corners, pipes, fixtures).

Experience in bathroom, kitchen, flooring, wall, and outdoor tiling work.

Strong understanding of waterproofing and surface preparation.

Physically fit and able to work long hours.

Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.

Ability to work independently or in a team.

5. Optional Requirements (Depending on Project)

Experience with large-format tiles.
