We are urgently looking for 2 experienced Civil Design Engineers with a strong structural and temporary works design background.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all temporary works are designed properly and installed per approved drawings & specifications.

Implement Temporary Works Procedures on site at all times.

Serve as the first point of contact between designers (internal/external) and the site team.

Coordinate all Temporary Works activities across the project.

Liaise with Construction Director, Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Site Manager, Permanent Works Engineer, and Temporary Works Design Engineer.

Ensure a proper Temporary Works Design Brief (TWDB) or approved standard solution is established and suitable for actual site conditions.

Verify critical checks at appropriate stages.

Prepare and maintain TWDBs with updated calculations, drawings, sketches, specifications, and relevant technical data.

Manage all stages of temporary works: design, procurement, erection, maintenance, and removal.

Develop Temporary Works Plan and maintain Temporary Works Register.

Review/approve method statements, drawings, and design calculations related to temporary works.

Conduct training and presentations for the civil construction team on temporary works procedures and safety protocols.

Requirements:

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

5+ years of experience in structural or temporary works design

Strong understanding of international standards

Excellent coordination and communication skills
