Job Description – Electrical Engineer (Infrastructure & Roads)

Position: Electrical Engineer

Experience: Minimum 5+ years Gulf experience

Industry: Roads, Infrastructure, Utilities, Street Lighting, Power Networks

Role Summary

The Electrical Engineer will oversee electrical engineering design, installation, and coordination

for infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on roads, street lighting, utilities, and electrical

network integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and develop electrical designs, shop drawings, and load calculations.

• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of LV/ELV systems and street lighting.

• Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams for utility corridor alignment.

• Ensure compliance with Kahramaa, Ashghal, SEC, and relevant Gulf authority standards.

• Perform site inspections, quality control, and ensure safety compliance.

• Support BIM integration for electrical routing and clash detection.

Required Skills & Software Knowledge

• AutoCAD Electrical

• Revit MEP (electrical discipline, mandatory)

• Navisworks for clash detection

• Dialux / Dialux Evo (street lighting design)

• ETAP or similar power analysis tools (optional but preferred)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 5+ years Gulf experience in infrastructure/electrical works

• Strong knowledge of GCC authority requirements

• Excellent technical review and coordination capabilities

Should have valid IQAMA and freelancer OWN visa
