We have Opening for the below mentioned categories.

PTW COORDINATOR

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. PTW System Management

 Review, verify, and process PTWs for renewable energy activities such as:

o Solar Structure Erection & Module Installation

o Wind Turbine Erection (Tower, Nacelle, Rotor)

o High-Voltage Electrical Work (33kV / 66kV / 132kV / 220kV)

o Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Work

o Substation & GIS Works

o Excavation for cable trenches

o Crane and Heavy Lifting Permits

o Work at Height Permits

o LOTO / Electrical Isolation Permits

o Hot Work & Confined Space Permits (if applicable)

 Ensure permits contain correct risk assessments, method statements, isolation

procedures, and drawings.

2. Field Verification & Coordination

 Conduct site inspection before permit issuance, ensuring that safety controls are

implemented, especially for renewable project hazards such as:

o Working at height on turbines or solar structures

o Electrical charging hazards in PV arrays

o HV switching and cable energization

o Crane lifting of turbine blades, nacelles, and transformers

o Manual handling of solar modules

 Coordinate with EPC contractors, supervisors, commissioning engineers, and

subcontractors.

3. Safety Compliance & Monitoring

 Continuously monitor active permits and ensure compliance with permit

conditions.

 Stop or suspend work if unsafe conditions, storm/high wind alerts, or violations

occur.

 Ensure safe LOTO implementation during energization or maintenance work.

 Verify that specialized tasks (e.g., HV testing, turbine work) are done by competent

personnel.

4. Documentation & Reporting

 Maintain daily PTW logs, tracking issued, active, suspended, and closed permits.

 Prepare daily/weekly reports for project management and EHS teams.

 Maintain records for audits, inspections, and client reviews.

 Support incident investigations related to PTW non-compliance (if any).

5. Training & Awareness

 Train workers and supervisors on the PTW system specific to renewable energy

projects.

 Raise awareness on key renewable safety risks:

o Arc flash

o HV switching hazards

o Wind turbine climbing and rescue

o Solar array electrical backfeed

o Heavy lifting safety

Qualifications & Requirements

 Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or Occupational Safety.

 Safety certifications: NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.

 Experience: 2–5 years in renewable energy projects (solar/wind) preferred.

 Strong knowledge of renewable-energy-specific hazards and safety procedures.

 Good communication, documentation, and coordination skills.

Skills & Competencies

 Strong understanding of PTW systems

 Knowledge of solar/wind construction hazards

 HV safety awareness and LOTO procedures

 Excellent coordination with EPC teams

 Attention to detail and accuracy

 Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced project environments
