The role of a Bolt Torquing Leadman cum Sales combines on-site leadership and technical expertise in industrial bolting with business development responsibilities, such as client relationship management and sales of related services and equipment rentals.
Operational & Leadership Responsibilities (Leadman)
• On-site Supervision: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of technicians, overseeing all on-site bolt torquing and tensioning activities.
• Technical Execution: Independently and as part of a team, execute hydraulic, pneumatic, and manual bolt torquing/tensioning, ensuring all work adheres to client and company specifications, operating procedures, and best industry standards. Execute hydraulic pneumatic and manual bolt torquing and hydraulic bolt tensioning. Perform nut splitting flange spreading and alignment tasks as per the job. Select set up and maintain tools and consumables for each job. Follow work instructions to achieve correct torque/tension values and sequences.
• Planning and Scheduling: Plan and schedule daily and weekly work for the crew, coordinate with supervisors, client representatives, and other teams (e.g., engineering, operations) to ensure timely progression of site activities.
• Quality Assurance & Documentation: Ensure safe, efficient, and leak-free operations. Maintain accurate job records, timesheets, complete flange tightening reports, and perform quality checks to verify correct torque values and sequences.
• Equipment Management: Select, set up, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot torquing tools and ancillary equipment. Report malfunctions and manage consumables for each job.
• Safety and Compliance: Uphold strict safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), hazard awareness, and following lockout/tagout procedures. Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE standards, and industry regulations during all phases of business.
• Sales & Business Development (Sales): Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including end-users, distributors, and maintenance companies.
• Sales and Business Growth: Drive sales of bolt torquing services, rentals, spare parts, calibration services, and the associated manpower/services to go onto client sites and carry out the work.
• Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify new business opportunities, process leads, prospect, and initiate contact with target companies and potential partners.
• Negotiation and Closing: Develop compelling proposals, negotiate deal terms, and close high-value sales deals to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends and gather competitor information to inform sales strategies and develop solutions that meet client needs.
• Support in managing accounts receivables, ensuring timely payment collection from clients.
• Follow-up with the clients on regular basis for leads, inquiries, work-awards, approval, payments etc.
• Any other reports or tasks as directed by the Management as and when required.
Monthly Business & Sales Invoicing Target: 250k to 500k SAR per month.
Salary & emoluments: 3000 to 5000 SAR + FAT + 1% Commission on Monthly Sales Invoiced from the awarded business + Company Insurance (BUPA).
Joining: Immediate or at earliest.
