o perform high-quality TIG and ARC welding on pipes, plates, and structural components for oil & gas construction projects, following approved WPS, drawings, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform TIG (GTAW) and ARC (SMAW) welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy materials.
Read and interpret welding drawings, WPS, and isometric sketches.
Prepare materials for welding (cleaning, beveling, alignment).
Carry out root pass, hot pass, fill, and cap welding to required standards.
Work with pipe fitters and fabricators to ensure proper fit-up and joint alignment.
Conduct self-inspection and follow QA/QC requirements.
Maintain welding equipment and ensure safe operation at all times.
Follow site safety rules, hot-work procedures, and use the correct PPE.
