Procurement Principal – Oil/Gas/Petrochemical Project (EPC)

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Principal for an oil, gas, or petrochemical industry project. The role is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project schedules.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation) or related field.

10–15 years of procurement and expediting experience in the oil/gas/petrochemical industry, including at least 5 years in the Gulf region.

Strong knowledge of procurement workflows, excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.

Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with vendors, clients, and engineers to ensure timely delivery of documents, materials, and equipment.

Monitor and expedite purchase orders to meet project timelines.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement documentation.

Provide regular progress reports on material requisitions and deliveries.

Identify and resolve issues causing delays in the procurement process.

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
