JOB TITLE: QA/QC ENGINEER

DEPARTMENT: Project

REPORTS TO: Project Manager

SUPERVISES Site; QA/QC workers

Minimum Required

Educational Background: B.Tech, Certification of ASNT LEVEL II in Liquid Penetrate Testing, Magnetic Penetrate

Testing, Radiography Testing, Ultrasonic Testing.

Minimum Required

Skills And Training : Good Communication Skills, Team Work, Computer Knowledge, Bilingual Language Capabilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Preparation of the Method statement and Inspection test plan for projects.

-Preparation of Welding and Brazing procedures as per the Code requirements.

-Qualifying Welders and Braziers from TPI for making their WQR.

-Preparation of all QA/QC activity reports.

-Witnessing Pressure testing & making reports for the same.

-Taking care of third-party agencies.

-Reviewing NDT reports (UT, MPT, and LPT & RT).

-Renewal of Welders and Brazers certificates.

-Witnessing the testing of valves and other related equipment in labs.

-Coordinating with all destructive and Nondestructive testing agencies related to testing.

-Preparing a compliance statement on project comments as per Codes & Standards.

-Coordinating with the Client/Consultant during project execution related to Quality issues.

-To submit the report of the activities regularly

-To comply with the Quality and HSE standards and to report the concerns in case of any non-compliance with the above standards.

-The Employee is required to perform other duties associated with the position at all times.
