Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Job Summary

A Restaurant Manager oversees daily restaurant operations to ensure high-quality service, customer satisfaction, and efficient management of staff and resources. This role includes supervising employees, managing budgets, maintaining food and safety standards, and ensuring smooth front- and back-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent service and customer satisfaction.

Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff.

Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.

Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food and labor costs.

Monitor food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Create and manage staff schedules to meet business needs.

Assist with menu planning and promotional activities.

Maintain financial records, monitor budgets, and prepare reports.

Collaborate with chefs, kitchen staff, and front-of-house teams.

Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and well-maintained.

Oversee cash handling procedures and daily sales reconciliation.

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma required; hospitality or business degree preferred.

Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles.

Strong leadership and team-management skills.

Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and restaurant operations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Basic financial and budgeting knowledge.

Proficiency with POS systems and scheduling software.
