Job Summary:
The Gardener/Operator is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, beauty, and functionality of gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas. The role includes operating gardening and landscaping equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that outdoor spaces remain safe, attractive, and healthy.
Key Responsibilities:
Plant, water, prune, and maintain flowers, trees, shrubs, and lawns.
Operate and maintain gardening machinery and equipment (e.g., lawn mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, tractors).
Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments as required, following safety standards.
Monitor plant health and report any signs of disease or pest infestation.
Assist in landscape design, planting, and seasonal garden updates.
Clean and maintain walkways, parking areas, and outdoor spaces.
Ensure all gardening tools and equipment are properly cleaned, stored, and maintained.
Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
