Job Title: Lead Technician

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Lead Technician to lead and execute maintenance and repair tasks in the workshop or field. The candidate will be responsible for guiding technicians, ensuring technical work is performed according to standards, and contributing to solving complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise technicians and assign daily tasks to ensure work is completed efficiently and with high quality.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, vehicles, and mechanical or electrical systems.

Diagnose faults, identify root causes of technical problems, and implement appropriate solutions.

Inspect equipment after maintenance or repairs to ensure safe operation and compliance with quality standards.

Assist in training new technicians and developing the skills of the technical team.

Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety procedures.

Prepare technical reports and document maintenance work and used spare parts.

Coordinate with the Workshop Manager to ensure availability of materials and equipment needed for work.

Provide technical support during project execution or special operations.

Requirements:

Technical diploma or qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.

Minimum 4–6 years of experience in maintenance or industrial workshops.

Strong skills in troubleshooting and solving technical problems.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Proficiency in using maintenance tools and workshop management systems (e.g., CMMS or SAP).
