Job Title: Material Coordinator

Location: Al Khobar / Project Sites across KSA

Industry: Building Construction / Infrastructure Projects

Department: Procurement & Logistics

Reporting To: Project Manager / Procurement Head

Job Purpose:

To ensure the timely availability, proper storage, and efficient distribution of all construction materials, equipment, and supplies required at project sites. The Material Coordinator will act as the key link between procurement, warehousing, and site execution teams to maintain smooth material flow and avoid project delays.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Material Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate with project engineers, procurement, and site teams to forecast and plan material requirements as per project schedule.

• Track material requests (MRs) and purchase orders (POs) to ensure timely delivery.

• Monitor stock levels and identify shortages to prevent work stoppage.

2. Material Receiving & Inspection

• Supervise unloading and inspection of delivered materials at the site.

• Verify material quantity and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes.

• Coordinate with QA/QC for material approval and documentation.

3. Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Maintain accurate records of material inflow and outflow using ERP or manual systems.

• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and segregation of materials to avoid damage or misuse.

• Conduct periodic physical stock audits and reconcile with system data.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain material receipt notes (MRN), issue slips, stock reports, and related documents.

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly material status reports for management review.

• Maintain records in compliance with company and client documentation standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in material coordination or warehouse operations in the construction industry (building/infrastructure projects).
