Job Overview

We are hiring a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman to support the design and construction teams in developing detailed drawings for RTR (Reinforced Thermosetting Resin) piping installation projects.

The Draftsman will prepare, revise, and organize drawings for Tender, IFC, Shop, and As-Built stages, ensuring compliance with standards and coordination between design and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate RTR piping layouts, isometric drawings, and installation details using AutoCAD.

Develop trench sections, alignment drawings, and joint/fitting details as per project and manufacturer standards.

Revise and update Tender, IFC, Shop, and As-Built drawings under guidance from the Design Engineer.

Ensure all drawings meet project specifications, RTR material standards, and client requirements.

Manage and organize drawings in DWG, PDF, and IFC formats with proper version control.

Coordinate with site engineers to incorporate redline markups and prepare final as-built drawings.

Maintain a well-structured drawing register and support document control for drawing submissions.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or ITI in Civil / Mechanical Drafting or equivalent.

3–6 years of experience in drafting for RTR/GRP/FRP piping or infrastructure projects.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, with experience in Revit or Navisworks as an advantage.

Good understanding of RTR piping systems, fittings, and installation drawings.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and drawing presentation.
